Easy Power, on behalf of NEA ODOS S.A., implemented the study, design and construction of one of the most advanced Hybrid Solar Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in the world, with a total capacity of 486kW, with the ability to produce Green Energy, for charging up to 30,000 electric vehicles per year.
More specifically, the Hybrid station consists of:
- A total of 4 chargers with a maximum power of 100kW, each capable of simultaneously charging 2 vehicles.
- It is one of the few fast charging stations in the world whose chargers are powered directly from the installed PV installations (DC to DC) without prior conversion to AC, reducing the losses from DC to AC to DC conversion by up to 10%.
- Specially studied, designed and manufactured PV system on roofs that in addition to energy provides shading and rain protection for parking spaces.
- Special hybrid inverters with customized software to manage the system's power generation and energy disposal.
- Solar panels of 243KW capacity are installed on each side of the SEA capable of supporting the charging needs of the electric vehicles as well as providing energy to the SEA building infrastructure.
